We also built the foundation of the demonstration garden by making raised beds, and laying down irrigation tubes.<br /><br />It doesn’t sound like much, but we all worked hard and we are all exhausted.<br /><br />On the last day we planted the trees with Kenyan students and students from Ngeya.<br />We are all so happy for what we did!! We are sorry that we couldn't write because we have limited access to the internet.<br /><br />For the first couple of days, we were camping with the Kenyan student on Lake Naivasha. We played games to get to know each other. We went to a game(animal) park and had a boat ride with the hippos. On the way back to Maai Mahiu we visited both Longonot and Maai Mahiu secondary schools.<br /><br />Today, we visited Michael's home. He is sponsered by Bodwell. We met with his family and we shared stories.
